The Role

We’re hiring a Lead Barista to own bar excellence end-to-end and oversee our junior baristas. You’ll set the standard for quality and speed, coach the team, keep the bar humming, and help us build a calm, welcoming space—especially during rush.

What You'll Do

• Lead & Coach: Run pre-shift huddles, assign stations, set targets, and give on-the-spot feedback; create simple training plans and track progress.
• Quality Control: Dial-in espresso, calibrate during service, taste and verify drinks before they go out; uphold presentation standards.
• Workflow & Speed: Design clean, efficient bar setups; manage the queue, ticket timing, and handoffs; keep the bar tidy under pressure.
• Menu & Wellness: Execute espresso, pour-overs, and wellness beverages (adaptogen/cacao/teas/smoothies/electrolytes); suggest improvements and seasonal specials.
• SOPs & Safety: Own cleanliness logs, food safety, machine care (backflush, basic maintenance), and end-of-day closeouts.
• Inventory & Cash: Track beans, alt-milks, perishables; coordinate orders; handle POS/tills accurately and report variances.
• Customer Experience: Model Vultun hospitality—warm greetings, clear communication, solution-oriented problem solving.
• Data-Driven Improvement: Monitor simple bar metrics (e.g., shot yield/time, average ticket time, wastage, top sellers) and run small experiments to improve.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years barista experience in a specialty setting; confident with espresso dialing and milk texture; basic latte art.
• 6+ months in a lead/trainer/shift-lead capacity (assigning stations, coaching juniors, managing rush).
• Solid grasp of food safety and tidy, organized work habits.
• POS/cash handling and basic inventory experience.

Nice-to-Haves

• Manual brew skills (V60/AeroPress/cold brew), latte art beyond basics, cupping/sensory.
• Interest in functional beverages (adaptogens, cacao, electrolytes, teas).
• Content-comfortable (occasional behind-the-scenes cafe posts).

We’re hiring an HR Lead who can both coach people and run compliant HR ops in the Philippines. You’ll keep our team inspired and our paperwork airtight—covering onboarding to offboarding, benefits, timekeeping, and DOLE/Labor Code compliance.

• Clear, compassionate English & Filipino communication—written and verbal.
• Comfortable with Google Workspace, Sheets, and simple dashboards (Airtable/Notion is a plus).

• Experience in hospitality / wellness / fitness or multi-unit operations.
• Familiar with Workplace Safety, incident logs, and basic HR risk controls.
• HR certifications (e.g., PMAP, HRBP) or training in labor relations.
